Jeremy Bigelow - Team Leader / Founder / Listing Specialist 

First, I would like to say thank you for taking time to visit our web site. We worked very hard to make sure that you could access enough information about us and about real estate in general. 

I myself, work mainly with Sellers in the marketing of their properties. Also, I am responsible for the day-to-day activities within our group. When I sit with Sellers to list their home, I make a point not to “puff” things up. I tell the facts and then let the sellers decide what is in their best interest. 

I also, list Bank Foreclosures within 6 surrounding counties, which include Lapeer, Genesee, Oakland, Livingston, Saginaw, & Shiawassee Counties. I work every aspect of the Foreclosure Process, from Pre-Foreclosure to Post-Foreclosure.  

I have been in the sales field for over 16 years. I was licensed as a Realtor in 1997. I worked out of another real estate office where I was a top producer. We transferred our group over to Keller Williams Realty in May of 2003 to further our success. Becoming the Owner Principle of Keller Williams Realty in August of 2008. Today, we are also a Top Producing Team in our Company and Region. Ranking in the top 2% of Real Estate Professionals throughout the Untied States. 

I have also graduated from The Floyd Wickman Course(Sweat Hogs) in 1998 and in 2001. If you are wondering, The Floyd Wickman Course is the #1 Real Estate Training Course in the United States. You can take this course to further your training and knowledge in the real estate field. I liked it so much I took it twice. Very few real estate professionals do this. It is a tough course. I have also, graduated from Floyd Wickman’s Starmakers Program. Plus, numerous other trainings to better my understanding of Real Estate. Always Learning. 

I have resided my entire life in the Owosso area and I am happily married to my wife, Laurie, and have four children Britny, Larisa, Christa, and Ty. I attend the New Life Worship Center were I teach & work with the CIA Youth Group. My family and I try to be very involved with our church. If you would like to visit my church, it is located at 1425 N. Hickory St. in Owosso. You will be happy you did. I also like to play a little bit of Paintball when I get the chance.

Jennifer enjoys spending time with her daughters and watching them compete with their traveling dance team. She also enjoys running. Chris brings over 11 years of sales experience and training to The Bigelow Group. He started out selling cellular phones for Verizon Wireless and transitioned into the Real Estate field in 2001. Chris is married with 3 children and has been in the Owosso area for over 17 years and he graduated in 1997 with honors from Owosso High School.  

Chris works with our foreclosed properties in price valuations, our vendors, and working with other real estate agents when submitting offers. When you are looking for honesty and integrity you can count on Chris Barnhill.  

The hobbies Chris enjoys are spending time with his family, working as a minister at New Life Worship Center in Owosso, and the occasional paintball outing.

Hannah has been married for 10 years to her husband Keith. They have two sons Zack and Jake. Hannah is originally from Harlan, Kentucky, where she graduated from Evarts High School and received an Associates Degree in Art and Science from Southeast Community College

Hannah supports the American Relay for Life as a member of Keith's Troops, in honor of her father-in-law who suffered with lung cancer. She also supports her son as a Cub Scout Leader for Pack 75. On Hannah's off time she enjoys scrap booking and supporting her family in the different activities they choose to participate in. 

Hannah updates our sellers weekly with showings, questions, and concerns. She also helps with the day to day activities. Hannah also is our Marketing Specialist to make sure all of our properties are properly place in the correct papers, magazines, and internet websites.

Cosmetic Improvements >Handle Needed Repairs Early

There is a standard chain of events that occurs when an offer comes in on a home. After a meeting of the minds, the buyer often brings in a home inspector who may find a few items that need to be repaired. The real estate agent gives the homeowner a list of the requested repairs. What comes next?

In most transactions, the seller will take care of the repairs. Many sellers wait until the week before the closing to call someone to do the work, because they want to be sure that they are going to make it to the closing table before they spend money on repair work. If you are responsible for making repairs to a home you are selling, make sure you have the work done well in advance of the closing date by licensed professionals who will stand behind their work. If the work is done at the last minute and is incomplete or unsatisfactory, it could cause complications at the closing. You should provide the buyers with all the receipts and the names of the persons to contact in case there is a problem with the repairs.
