Jeremy Bigelow - Team Leader / Founder / Listing Specialist 

First, I would like to say thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We worked very hard to make sure that you could access enough information about us and about real estate in general. 

I work mainly with Sellers in the marketing of their properties. I also oversee and manage the day-to-day activities within our group. When I sit with Sellers to list their home, I make a point not to “puff” things up. I tell the facts and then let the sellers decide what is in their best interest. 

I also list Bank Foreclosures within 6 surrounding counties which include Lapeer, Genesee, Oakland, Livingston, Saginaw, & Shiawassee Counties. My team works every aspect of the Foreclosure Process, from Pre-Foreclosure to Post-Foreclosure. We also work with many Short-Sale Situations. We have helped many home owners that were losing their homes move on with their lives. 

I personally have been in the sales field for over 19 years. I was licensed as a Realtor in 1997. I worked out of a Century 21 Office & Prudential Office where I was a top producer. We transferred our group over to Keller Williams Realty in May of 2003 to further our success and became the Owner Principle of Keller Williams Realty in August of 2008. Today, we are a Top Producing Team in our Company and Region. Ranking in the top 1% of Real Estate Professionals throughout the United States. 

I have also graduated from The Floyd Wickman Course(Sweat Hogs) in 1998 and in 2001. The Floyd Wickman Course is the #1 Real Estate Training Course in the United States. This course is available to further your training and knowledge in the real estate field. Although it is a tough course, I liked it so much that I took it twice. I have also graduated from Floyd Wickman’s Starmakers Program and numerous other training courses to better my understanding of Real Estate. I believe in continued learning and development.

Tony brings to the team over 16 years of management and over 6 years of real estate experience. He graduated from Owosso High School and attended Baker College of Owosso and the Zion Bible Institute in Barrington, Rhode Island.  

Tony also has over 10 years experience in Ministry. Ranging from Sunday School Teacher, Youth Pastor, and Evangelist. He is currently a Pastor at Divine Force Ministries in Corunna, MI.

Jessica Lee is a great asset to The Bigelow Group. She has taken on the task of being our new REO Assistant. She oversees pre-listing and listing operations for all our REO Properties. Jessica also manages our REO Billing. 

Prior to joining The Bigelow Group, Jessica was a program coordinator for CSAAC Center for Autism in Maryland.  

Jessica graduated from Central High School in Bay City and studied Sociology at the University of Maryland in Baltimore County Honors University

She is the proud new mother of a daughter born in February 2011.

Herphon (her-fon) was born in Asheville, North Carolina, but spent most of his life in the Mid-Michigan area. He attended Mott College and University of Michigan-Flint after graduating from Flint Central High School

Herphon purchased property twelve years ago in the Grand Blanc area, where he currently resides. He understands the value of home ownership and is willing to help those that are thinking of making that first step.

Financing Your Home >Assuming a Mortgage

You may be able to assume the seller's mortgage liability when buying a house instead of having to apply for a new loan.

Assuming a loan could minimize your down payment or closing costs and get you a more advantageous interest rate. To know whether an assumption will work, find out the loan balance. If the balance is a small fraction of the purchase price, you will have to come up with a large down payment or get a second loan for the difference, unless the seller is willing to provide some of the financing. If the loan balance is high, the loan may have been made when interest rates were higher than they are today.

Most newer loans that are assumable have adjustable rates. If you are considering an assumption because of credit problems, you will need the lender's approval to make the transaction work.
